Antec Skeleton Case
Oct 29th
In what has to be the most innovative case design in the history of PC cases, Antec has released their Skeleton case. Targeting the enthusiasts, the case is an open-air design, allowing your hardware to be exposed at all times. Featuring a massive 250mm fan at the top of the case’s dome, it also comes with a 92mm fan dedicated for hard drive cooling.
While it only has 2x 3/5″ hard drive slots, it appears that there are option mounts for the side of the case (not shown) allowing you to add an additional four drives. There is also plenty of room for 3-way SLI video card setup, including the high end double expansion slot cards. It comes in a good price point for the enthusiast case market at $189 CAN. Like most gamer tower cases, the Antec Skeleton does not include any type of power supply.
Antec has had huge success with the Antec Nine Hundred Gamer Case, which for its size and features, boasts whisper quiet computing. Here’s hoping the same applies to this marvel of design.
